At the heart of the studio is a mission: to revive and share the enduring beauty of classical art techniques. Our courses are thoughtfully designed for beginners and improvers alike, offering step-by-step tuition in both drawing and oil painting.

We keep class sizes small so every student receives individual attention, and our welcoming, studio-style environment helps students feel supported from the very first session. The Foundation Course combines observational drawing and traditional oil painting techniques, with materials and guidance inspired by the methods of the 16th and 17th-century masters.

In addition to term-time courses, we run shorter workshops and one-day sessions throughout the year—including wellness-based "Walk, Talk & Sketch" events in the beautiful countryside around Henley and Nettlebed. These offer an opportunity to reconnect with nature, loosen creative blocks, and meet like-minded people in a relaxed and nourishing setting.
